Right, have tagged Silent for the next top ten annoyances of 2006……. Get in quick, time is running out!

I just wish I knew where that came from, I have been looking everywhere to find out, so if anyone knows……

In looking, came across this which just made me titter…..

1. Punch Inns for ruining my social life, and other peoples’ homes and livelihoods……..in memoriam to the Morecambe Hotel

2. So called clothes-redesigners. People with stanley knives who take it upon themselves to mete out a so-called justice on other peoples’ possessions.

It’s that time of year again, when the shops are filled with glow-in the dark plastic Father Christmases and commerciality is at full throttle. Then to top it all, you have to go and spend the festive season with….your family.

Wendy Cope had it right…bah humbug.

Now this is a novel idea…someone has a blog to which they have limited the access…. forgive me, but I guess that this is, what in pre-tech times, used to be called a diary….

Or just very sad. More later……..

Yes, I know it’s taken me time to write this one…….

Last Saturday we all bade farewell to the Morecambe Hotel for what was to be the last time. It was a bittersweet evening, happy amongst friends, but also filled with a type of fin de siecle sadness for what was essentially the end of an era….
